This team of 4th graders--Kyle Connoly--Alex Norcrosse---Dillon Hulse--Lucy Lu--Abigail Souder--made up the 4th grade
BATTLE OF THE BOOKS team.
They each read books (15 in all) and then "battled" against other VPE teams to see who could remember most about the books.

I loved Battle of The Books! I was on a winning team in grade school, I cannot recall for sure which grade I was in at the time nor do I recall all the books that were on our list, but I DO remember that The White Mountains by John Christopher was one of them, a strange sci-fi story. I still randomly think about.
I'd love a copy of the book list they had to read.
