A Christmas Day with Mom and Dad and Kim

The Sunday before Christmas Jessie spent hours in her room creating a store. One of the projects she completed was organizing this purse. She has a purse, within a purse, within a purse, within a purse------just like her mom, Aunt Tanya and my bet friend. Mary Ellen.

Celebrating Christmas by singing in the Choir

Singing in the OP 1 ward choir was the best part of this Sunday celebration. For the last 15 weeks, my family and I have practiced for approximately one hour a week singing two Christmas songs. Performing them today was the highlight of this experience.

I am not a seasoned singer, nor do I claim to be talented in this field, However this is about the ONLY activity where each member of my family can participate together and enjoy the event without complaint.

Sister Tana Lloyd is our choir director and she does a fabulous job teaching us such great compositions. We have had great friend sing with us and that makes experience all the better.

Dinner with the Naylor/Davis family

Long-time friends and neighbors, the Naylors, celebrated the sealing and marriage of their son, Joseph and Abbey Naylor. The day AFTER the celebration, we had several families gathered for the happy event for a Sunday dinner.

FIRST Snow day in 2 years

Our school district canceled school today---a half day and mostly a party day anyway!!!!! Jess got outside first thing in the morning.

Admitting that I ENJOYED making a snow angel for the FIRST time in 10 years just may or may not be true!

Another December SNOW storm

Brad got a new snow blower last year and this was the FIRST time he got to use it.

The orange cord you see in this picture needed to be replaced after the FIRST USE of the snow blower.

This PT cruiser is now owned by Brandon Bishop as of June 2013.

OP 1 RS Presidency

Since March, I have served with this wonderful group of women. I am the Relief Society president of our ward and I assist approximately 80 women ranging from ages 18 to 78 in becoming whom God intended them to be: nurturing friends, wives, mothers, and women of faith.

Getting to know these women has been one of the greatest pleasures of this year. Each is wise, talented, loving, caring and willing to serve in this capacity. I am grateful to call them each my friend.
