It's been a week since my mom passed. Chris and Tanya flew into town to say goodbye to Mom. Mom wasn't very coherent, but she wasn't in pain either. I'm so grateful for help and care given to my mom by hospice workers.
Carson was the one whom stayed with my mom for her last breath. Carson, Cat, and Jess made arrangements to sleep at mom’s house as we needed to sleep. However, Kim, Jess and I stayed up all night as mom passed away at 10:40 pm on Aug 2, but at 2 am on Aug 3 is when hospice nurses declared her gone.
As it turns out, Mom donated her pericardium, skin on back and legs and scelera of her eye. She was an organ donor listed on her ID. It was an interesting process. My family was at peace with this process.

This dress was made by my mom and sister, Chris. It now fits Eliza!!!! I challenged Eliza to wear it to church. The 3 Brallison girls start school this week—June is in all-day kindergarten; Char is in 3rd grade; and Eliza is in 5th!
Tyndale is in 1st grade and home schools. He read very well.
