My friend Kelly and Nathan Black allowed Carson and Jessie to watch their pride and joy, Aleeya on a Friday night and my children loved every second with the beautiful and cheerful baby girl. We used VINE to record these short videos.

SPRING BREAK 2014: Mall of America in Minnesota

We spent 4 nights and 5 days exploring the multi-level Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn and enjoyed a day at an indoor Water Park. What a wonderful, relaxing and refreshing time with these great kids. Jessica even knocked out her SPRING/Summer 2014 wardrobe and we got AMAZING STEALS on her clothes.

These boys, Carson, Dylan Bailey and Eli Staggs, earned their Genealogy Merit Badge and LOVED the presentation about GOOGLE EARTH! Genealogy KC provided these helpful workshops and resources for this conference.

For the past 15 years I've been meeting with this group of gals every month! I've enjoyed the friendships with them and the time spent discussing various books and book topics.

Our day was spent touring the Kansas City Missouri Public Library. It is a very old building that has been renovated in the past 10 years. The day was a warm and delightful day!

Kelly Black and I work together in our church. Her first baby, Aleeya, was born in Dec and is adorable! Carson and Jess loved watching her for a few hours on a Friday.

BVN PEP BAND 2014

"BVN BASKETBALL PEP BAND performed extremely well for the 2013-2014 SEASON! The BVN basketball team took 2nd in the state of KANSAS so it was a very SUCCESSFUL year for the sport!

Jessica celebrates turning 9

A delicious dinner at a Japanaese Steak House with Grandma and Grandpa Evans was a great diversion from events of this WINTER. Jessie really enjoys the flavors of steak, chicken and rice and loves to watch the food prepard on a hot, steel stove! 

Her ninth birthday was celebrated with gifts she picked out at Target ON HER BIRTHDAY because it was a 

SNOW DAY!

She got new shoes, new clothes, new gymnastic uniform, books, and a new Barbie! And SILLY PUTTY from Carson.

** my youngest sister Kim has a birthday on March 4, but her life is in ANOTHER state of caous and has become unmanageable as she is addicted to crystal meth. Her addiction began around NOV. 2012 and all during my father's health crisis of 2012-2013, she was abusing

I am keeping an online journal and have begun taking myself and my parents to NAR- ANON meetings on Monday nights to provide support for them. 

IT IS A HORIBLE, AWFUL, NO GOOD VERY BAD DISEASE.
