Topeka State Capitol Field Trips

Attending an elementary school field trip with a child when you have younger children is never met WITHOUT a challenge. Inevitably, a baby gets sick preventing you from going, a toddler has a melt-down causing you to be late, or your carefully arranged babysitter gets PINK EYE sending her to the doctor!  It seems that every bus ride to the field trip, I suffered a headache and the fresh air that a bunch of elementary students invites is not always so pleasant.

....but every moment spent one-on-one with a small child (and their school friends) was WORTH all the pain and suffering.

...because when they are teens, they TEXT you and say that you are not welcome on their one-on-one "field trip" with their girlfriend!

You are a riot! I love all the reminders you give me to treasure whatever moment I'm in. :) You must have quite the photo archives to be able to pull those old shots of Brandon up - bravo!
