SALLY SHIPLEY: SMWEST 1985

My 1985 #SMWEST Speech/Forensic teacher, Sally Shipley, is featured in this delightful & nostalgic article! Her demeanor, humor, positive feedback, and relate-ability, affected many “Star” students. And even though I’m not a  “star” how grateful I am for her for motivating me to perform in her class and strive for achievement. High School years were tremendously awkward for me and her class seemed to provide a space for unity, laughter, exploration and acceptance.

I enjoy following the careers and achievements of her prodigy and love that they support #CMH through #BigSlickKc #AntManandthewasp

Utah SUMMER TRIP

We spent time with the Huntsman family. On my birthday, JESSICA & Lauren spoiled me with pedicures and hair-styles!!

We visited CSU Campus and watched a basketball game with Scott & Nathan!!

Uncle Joel appears in these pictures. He played the role of Jacob, the prophet, in these LDS Church Book of Mormon re-enactment videos.

We spent time with the Joel Bishop family and cousins and grandma grandpa Bishop.

YW Camp 2018: COOKING

GOOGLE PHOTOS HERE

L.I.F.E. — YW LDS Girl’s Camp 2018 has ended and I could not be more pleased with how my task..Head Cook .. turned out!! NO illness .. plenty of food .. “generally” on schedule .. great team of helpers ... food was sufficient to keep hot, tired, hungry campers alive for their 4-day activities AND  a reasonable amount of $$$$ was spent!! Unless someone reports otherwise, it was a SUCCESS!!!!!

Memorial Day weekend!!!

We visited my dad at the BusCyrus cemetery on Sunday of Memorial day weekend. It was a beautiful day and it was nice to see the rolling green hills and leaves on the trees.

Playing games at Brandon & Allison’s!!!
