Visiting my brother in Calhoun, Georgia

On our way to our Spring Break trip in Orlando, Florida, we stayed one night with my brother and family in Calhoun, Georgia after driving 12 hours from Kansas. The next morning, we headed for our 6-day vacation visiting 6 Orlando Theme Parks.

While traveling home to KC, we stopped in Georgia and spent 2 nights and 1 day. We got to attend Sara's,  my niece, 2nd birthday party, hosted by Tori and Greg. My family helped with the set-up and we all had a fabulous time making Sara feel special and loved.

Tori takes hosting a party very seriously. It just happened to be St. Patrick's day so the color scheme was green!

What a beautiful spread and filled with lots and lots of sweets! My personal favorite was the chocolate covered pretzels.

My nieces adore Carson and when he is near, they say his name and follow him everywhere! He also is willing to play and bond with them.
YUMMY PIZZA before all the sweets.
Don't let this adorable face fool you!  She is a feisty one.
Greg helped Sara lick the frosting off the cupcakes.
The frosting is the best part of the cookie.

Carson wore this green hat ALL day.

This is my FAVORITE pic of the day!  What a great Dad!!!

Beautiful Sara and Beautiful Mommy!

Universal Studios--Orlando Florida

The weather was 80 degrees, sunny and delightful! We walked a lot on this vacation, but it was worth the great things we saw. Universal Studios was across the street from our hotel so it made it very convenient to access the park.

The boy's loved riding this roller coaster, but Jessie was too short so her and I rode the "Mummy" roller coaster TWICE!  I had a headache the rest of the day. Roller coasters are not really my thing, but I wanted Jessie to be happy and SHE was!  The roller coaster was a bit much for me.

Jessie tried on this lovely Egyptian headdress after we rode the "Mummy" roller coaster. Isn't she a cutie!

Being silly in the gift shop!
FEAR FACTOR LIVE---6 people volunteered to participate in this competition and had to spend an hour  preparing for the event. They competed in various events of physical skills and the audience cheered the teams on. It made for an entertaining 20 minutes. For another competition, several audience volunteers also were called to the stage to participate in random FEAR FACTOR type events including:  eating a "magic" shake filled with sour milk chunks, bugs, tobacco sauce, worms, etc., scorpions crawling on your head, and other fearful things! It made for GREAT entertainment and SOME even conquered their fears.

At the end of each day, we were all exhausted, but very entertained!
