Music brings me joy---but 5th GRADE?

Mrs. Mary Watson leads Carson in the VPE 5th grade band program. He began playing the trumpet this year and enjoys it very much!

Mrs. Mary Watson and Mrs. Woker have helped Carson develop his musical talents by teaching him perseverance and patience.

Making beautiful music

Carson enjoys playing 3 instruments this year--PIANO--VIOLA--TRUMPET. I enjoyed hearing the district Middle School Festival for elementary and middle school strings.

Isn't he growing up??

Winter Concert--VPE-Carson performs

In 5th Grade, Carson performed in the Band (trumpet) Choir and Orchestra (viola). Participating in these events took place during recess and lunch. For Carson, missing recess is no big deal and he enjoys playing in all these groups.

Carson Spring Concert--VIOLA

Playing with the High School orchestra was a real treat for Carson. I also enjoy hearing the progress that is possible with patience, practice, and perseverance!
