2025 June 12: 38 years at Nelsons and Juneteenth

Chocolate BAG!!’

My mom is receiving in-home hospice care now. All her comfort care, medicines, prescriptions, personal items, etc are covered with Medicare.

A nurse visits twice a week and consults a physician whom approves all new medicines and refills the 5 previously prescribed medicine she’s been taking for years.

No more doctor visits. No more hospital admissions. No 911 calls. No new medical issues will be “investigated” except comfort care. A CNA helps with personal care twice a week. Interim health is the management company and a medical Professional is available 24/7

May 19, she had her 12-year-old pacemaker battery replaced. Recovery wasn't going well. She qualified for this level of care.

Her mobility wasn't very good before battery needed replacing.

We are grateful for this level of care. She is cognizant of the care provided and chose to be supported by hospice.

We celebrated 38 years by going to Museum for Juneteenth celebration and eating together a delicious dessert called chocolate bag!!
