Over 250 ties were collected for Brandon's Eagle project. During the sorting process, the kids asked ME to determine if the ties were in style. (many from the 70's and 80's) I fear for the boys in the Philippines who will receive these ties as they will certainly not pass the "What Not to Wear" test. Jessie enjoyed hiding in the ties and turned out to be a very poor helper during the "work" project.
Brad installed a new ceiling fan in our kitchen yesterday. The old plastic covering protecting the lights fell loudly to the floor and shattered frightening all slumbering people at midnight. True to home improvement projects, the new fan purchased at Home Depot was damaged and needed to be returned (AFTER it was installed). The home improvement stores have a racket going, purposely damaging random merchandise to get customers to return and inevitably buy more stuff!!

wow, what a great thing to have this project almost done. High five to you and Brandon. And just think how happy the people will be who recieve the ties.
