Friday was a BIG day for our 16-year-old. Not only did he get his braces off, but he got his driver's license! As many boys that are 16 imagine, he was waiting for his OWN car to appear in the driveway. Disappointment reigned heavily on the household Saturday, when reality set in that he would be sharing cars for awhile and that we would enforce driving laws that many states have legally now. Unfortunately, Kansas lets teen drive with ANYONE in the car at 16! That makes me CRAZY with anxiety. Brandon is a good and safe driver, it is just all the other "cell phone" teens that get me going!
