MY recent BCC SKIN CANCER JOURNEY:
—Winter 2018: lump appeared UNDER tip of nose. During yearly skin checks, dermatologist advised that it didn’t need biopsy.
—Feb 2020: A MOH’s surgeon removed BCC from my cheek. The night before this surgery, I scratched at the tip of my nose and made it bleed & asked the MOHS surgeon her opinion.
—When sutures were removed from BCC on my cheek, MOH’s surgeon biopsied tip of nose.
—BIOPSY of nose Feb 2020–POSITIVE BCC
—“Canceled” NOSE MOH’s/Reconstructive surgery due to CoVid—April 9, 2020
—June 11, 2020: MOH’s NOSE surgery complete. (Picture shows what was removed)
—NOSE Reconstruction with KANSAS USA plastic surgeon June 12, 2020–my 33rd wedding anniversary!! (Pictures to come)
——1999: BCC removed under my right eye
——2016: BCC removed under right eye millimeters away from 1999 spot
