Carson spent a week with his buddies at Camp Naish in Bonner Springs, Kansas. Bishop Chris Staggs and brother Brett Bozick spent the entire week with the young men!
The scouts worked very hard to earn a number of merit badges and greatly enjoyed the rock climbing merit badge. I am so proud of this group of scouts because they are good friends and they motivate each other to do their best.
While Carson was attending camp, his grandmother, Tamara Evans, was admitted to KU med center for an emergency pacemaker. Carson and Jacob's uncle Greg drove through the night to be with Tamara. He brought his three daughters with him for the long ride.
During family night, I surprised Carson and Jacob and brought his beloved cousins, Lily, Mari and Sara to enjoy a yummy dinner with the scouts. The girls had a blast with Carson and Jacob playing in the sand, dirt and water.
