The kids first day off of school BEFORE a winter blizzard hit KC on January 6, my family and I helped out at the Bishop's Storehouse as they were in much need of assistance. Kim, Cody, Jacob, Hunter, Carson, and I traveled to the Richmond, MO site to be with my Dad and help load food orders to be driven to Southeast Missouri the following day.

The Winter Storm began on our drive home. Traffic traveling the other direction was at a stand-still because of 2 minor accidents. It took us 3 times as long to get home mostly due to the fact that we followed a BLOCKADE of 6 snow plows plowing the freeway Parallel to each other. Oh what a SITE!

Can't believe that you guys got out of school. We've had just about the same weather and we're still plugging away. But alas, we rarely cancel here.
That looks COLDDDD! You're a great mom...your boys are going to be great missionaries because of all the service you do!
Doing service as a family is so amazing!!! Looks like a LONG drive home!!!!
