Piano Studio Annual HALLOWEEN Party

Here is Jessie's piano solo and the following video is from the BETTER CONCERT which Jessie sang with other children in the KC metro area of other faiths. We went directly to this event from the piano party!


……..AND AFTER the concert, Brad, Jess and I zoomed to the DAC stadium to witness Carson perform the LAST COMBINED BAND performance of the 2013 season in the annual LIGHT SHOW!  It was a busy and wonderful day!!!!!!

Orthodontist: Dr. Chad Bulleigh

After updating my IOS phone software, I never expected for the phone to shut off in the middle of the night , therefore, turning off my 7 AM wake-up call!

I jumped out of bed at 7:55 AM realizing that the twenty minute ride to the ortho for an 8:30 appointment would not be possible without a little speed! Carson and I skipped the non-essentials of our morning routine and arrived at the office  fully dressed, but a little stinky!

Dr. Chad Bulleigh has done it again!! Carson is the third Bishop teenager to benefit from his orthodontic skills!!! We have witnessed the expansion and renovation and building of 4 different offices in the last 8 years! His Shawnee office is by far the most modern and progressive!!

It got a lot more stinky in the office bathroom as the stress and anxiety my body endured got the best of me!!

Let's just say that BOTH Carson and I won't EVER forget THIS appointment morning!

Carson does look quite grown-up!!!!

Meet the Almond's: Brad's youngest sister is married

  

Christina and Dave Almond were sealed in the Washington, DC Temple on October 19, 2013.  Brad and I had a delightful and quick trip without kids. We partied with Brad's siblings and toured a few attractions in downtown DC.

Remodel COMPLETE

After 3 months of preparation, planning, and productivity, we have finished updating 2 rooms---much needed after 10 years!

The room once shared by Hunter and Brandon had the original FLOWER wallpaper on the walls. Now, just in time for a visit from Brad's parents, the new guest room is the "Y" room!

We ordered this FATHEAD sticker online and were so happy to put it on the wall.

The room soon became a SHRINE to the high school success of Brandon and Hunter

The efforts it took to complete our master bathroom included tearing off 2 layers of wallpaper and scraping the "popcorn" off the ceiling. It was a huge mess, but worth the effort!!!

Carson enjoyed helping Brad install the new faucets and other hardware. 

I added a bit of color with new rugs, towels and pictures.

I am still looking for the perfect art for this wall, but a feeling of completion is finally felt!!
