Beauty and the Beast CREW Crew for Carson Bishop
Carson enjoyed participating in the TECH crew for his middle school play, Beauty and the Beast. He was able to use power tools, paint brushes, and a hammer and nails to help create a beautiful set for Beauty and the Beast.
Jessica participated in the Princess Parade before the actors and actresses took the stage. What a fantastic cast and crew!
Bryan Jarett--Joshlin--Jared--Kevin--Chris--Kiki Manning. Kiki played the "wardrobe" in the productions! Isn't she fabulous!

Jane Manning James and Eliza Partridge Lyman--Brad's great great great grandomther
While watching a documentary entitled Nobody Knows: The Untold Story of Black Mormons--Darius Gray and Margaret Young, Brad learned about a very touching story involving one of his descendants, Eliza Partridge Lyman.
With tears in his eyes, he shared the most tender parts of the story.
In 1850, Eliza Partridge Lyman wrote:
April 13: Brother Lyman [Eliza's husband] started on a mission to California with O. P Rockwell and others. May the Lord bless and prosper them and return them in safety. He left us . . . without anything to make bread, it not being in his power to get any.
April 25: Jane James, a colored woman, let me have two pounds of flour, it being about half she had.

Jane Manning James: Nothing Feeble in Her Example
What a beautiful reminder of the blessings of blacks getting the priesthood in 1978.

Municipal Auditorium--Jessies FIRST gymnastic's competition--Level 2
These pictures were taken at Jessica's LAST practice before she performed the routines in front of Judges at Municipal Auditorium downtown. At the large arena, she was acting very calm and quiet and we wondered if she was nervous.
As soon as we got her into the car after her competition, she spiked a fever and has had a fever for three days! I wonder if this affected her performance--she got seventh of nine gymnasts.

Hunter plays in the BVN Pep Band
The BVN basketball is on a winning streak this season. They have not lost a game........
until the one we attended! It was a very intense match and it appeared that the BVN basket was cursed. Balls just jumped out of it repeatedly. We managed to enjoy the game. My Dad brought Paul Platt to the game so he could enjoy the action! Hunter AVOIDS pictures very cleverly, but I managed to get a few!
