Brad, Carson, Jessie and I enjoyed Disney on Ice in March! We got discounted tickets through our entertainment book. Even though there was a small crowd due to the economy, we were all entertained.

Getting together with friends always renews my spirits and gives me lots of ideas. Kati Wheeler, Chris Manning and Patty Ward are dear friends who I met through service for the Youth Group at my church. The bonds of sisterhood never die!!!!! Thanks for always giving me hope ladies!

Nurturing PLANTS

I purchased these beautiful plants 3 weeks ago because they were on SALE. I knew I would not plant them until after Mother's Day and said to myself,

"I am GOING to keep these babies alive until then. I am DETERMINED to NURTURE them until they can go outside."

After visiting on-line sites directing me what to do, I eagerly followed the advice to WATER them daily as they need water and keep them inside until it is warm.

SEE WHAT TOO MUCH NURTURING CAN DO!

There is a parenting lesson in this!

Chick-Fil-A

Brandon got a job at his FAVORITE restaurant-Chick Fil A. 

When we visited Georgia last summer, we ate chicken everyday from the "healthy" choice for fast-food restaurant. Many good friends and mentors work at the teenage friendly stop and he is enjoying the work and relationships and they are closed on SUNDAY!!!!. 

We are happy he has something to fill his time as he was BORED at home.

Happy Easter 2009!

Celebrating with friends was a happy occasion this year. Mom and Dad were in  Colorado with Tanya so we invited the Ward's and Bill's over for the BOYS!  The boys were on their BEST behavior in front of the striking and charming Ward girls. Glad they are such charming and handsome boys--I'm bias of course!
